Combat crew members are standing before a B-25D Mitchell bomber of 22nd Bomb Squadron, 341st Bomb Group at Kurmitola Airbase. The 22nd Squadron had two insigne while assigned in the CBI during WWII. The first "Bombing Eagles" is seen here. Soon after being transferred to Yangkai, China in January 1944, the Squadron adopte the "Battlin' Bulldog" insigne.
