The “Remembering Shared Honor” (RSH) project sets out to collect and preserve oral histories related to Chinese and American cooperation during the Second World War in the China-Burma-India(CBI) theater of war.

The area where Lt. Garner was finally buried, once an open field, but now a maze of structures. However, the small zone where he was mostly likely buried has some large open areas in it, and the soil has not been greatly disturbed.
