Chew K. Wong of Sacramento promoted to Captain in the Air Corps. In October 1943 he was assigned to Air Service Command and put in charge of salvaging the airplanes that have crashed and are scattered throughout China. He has been recommended for the Legion of Merit.

Graham K. Kidd was one of four enlisted men of Headquarters of the 14th Air Force chosen to attend Burma Road opening celebration dinner, and shaking hands with General Lung Yun. The American soldier behind them is M/Sgt. Richard L. Hapgood.
