"'Last Resort' entertainment hall in Yangkai. Here the U.S. movie stars came and many time the programs were held inside. It had a stage and auditorium. An outside stage would be erected for the performances when a large crowd was present. It would be built at the same level as the stairs in the foreground, the GI's would be seated on the ground around the stage. The entertainment was sponsored by the U.S.O. The building was erected by the Chinese."
