AN ADVANCE AIR BASE, CHINA--First Lt. James H. Corbitt, 23-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Corbitt, 231 Montgomery St., Troy, Alabama, has arrived in the China Theater and has been assigned to the Fourteenth Air Force's hard-hitting Chinese-American Composite Wing. Lt. Corbitt, who wife, Mrs. Yvonne H. Corbitt, and one-year-old son, Russell, reside at Brewton (PO Box 188) Ala., is a fighter pilot. He will fly with the famed Al's Assassins Fighter Group which, like all units in the Wing, is composed of both Chinese and American personnel.
