Flak damage to the B-24 "China Clipper" as photographed after the fact by Hal Geer, who had also been holding a camera on the plane at that location, at the waist window, when the plane was hit in flight. The camera in his hands (and held to his face) had been destroyed by the flak, which he felt however saved his life at the same time.
