CBI-44-60576 30 Sept 44 Photo by Pfc J.C. Bowermaster Five Japanese bombers struck the Liuzhou airbase on the 29th of September and destroyed this B-24 and a gas dump, as well as a C-46 transport plane. During a fourty-five minute raid the was the only serious damage suffered.
Raymond J. Bridge disappeared on a flight on May 25, 1944. His family was gracious to share with us about him during the summer of 2007. We plan to never forget.
