B-24 Finally Brings Crew Home To Florida

B-24 and Colonel William D. Hopson in West Palm Beach, Florida, during WWII, after a safe, successful return from the CBI at the end of the war. This B-24 should be #44-51040,  which was flow back to the US after the war, assigned to the RFC (Reconstruction Finance Corporation, salvage) Walnut Ridge, Arkansas) Dec 24, 1945--then chopped up and melted down for America's post-war boom. (Thanks tonystro and Joe Baugher.)
