Damaged Bridge Delays Japanese Retreat
Fourteenth Air Force Headquarters, In China--
One of three bridges out 2 miles south of Sulien (probably Silian 思练镇 today) which slowed down 2000 Japanese who were retreated from this area near Liuchow. Japanese were closely followed by Chinese ground followed by Chinese ground forces who were supported in the air by the Fourteenth Air Force.
